A double blow for the Ivanov family

Sophia and Andriy were born at 35 weeks' gestation and spent two months in hospital while their digestive and respiratory systems matured. They were discharged with a diagnosis of ischaemic-hypoxic CNS damage. At the age of one, Sonya was diagnosed with tetraparesis, and Andriy with cerebral palsy. The children understand speech perfectly, but do not speak yet.
In accordance with the agreement No. 21 on cooperation between the CO ICF ‘Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace’ and the Charity Operator of the Charity Fund “Pomogayem” dated 31.08.2020 and the additional agreement No. 21.260 dated 07.05.2024, the project ‘Double Impact for the Ivanov Family’ was posted on the dobro.ua website to attract charitable donations to pay for treatment for the Ivanovs Andriy and Sofia. 
Subsequently, we sent a request to transfer part of the funds raised in the amount of UAH 24,079.00 (twenty-four thousand seventy-nine hryvnias and 00 kopecks) to pay for a rehabilitation course at the CO ‘BU ’CENTRE FOR REHABILITATION, PHYSICAL THERAPY AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION NAMED AFTER THE SACRED RIGHTEOUS JOHN" for Andriy and Sofia Ivanov, which was done according to letter No. 425 of 29. 07.2024 and continued the collection on dobro.ua.
In July 2024, the twins Andriy and Sofiika Ivanovs underwent another rehabilitation course at the St. John's Centre, part of which we paid from dobro.ua - UAH 24 079.00 (twenty-four thousand seventy-nine hryvnias and 00 kopecks).
In October 2024, we again appealed to our regular partners, the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, with a request to transfer UAH 7,000.00 (seven thousand hryvnias and 00 kopecks) to partially pay for the rehabilitation of Andriy and Sofia at the CO ‘BU ’CENTRE FOR REHABILITATION, PHYSICAL THERAPY AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION NAMED AFTER SAINT RIGHTEOUS JOHN", according to letter No. 644 of 29. 10.2024. In the same month, we paid for classes for children with all the funds received.
On 08.01.2025, thanks to the donors of the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace who closed the collection for Andriy and Sofia, we received UAH 36,541.00 (thirty-six thousand five hundred and forty-one hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Foundation's current account to pay for rehabilitation for children and project administration. 
Thanks to the funds received in March and April this year, we paid for rehabilitation for Andriy and Sofia at the CO ‘BU ’CENTRE FOR REHABILITATION, PHYSICAL THERAPY AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION NAMED AFTER SAINT RIGHTEOUS JOHN" for a total of UAH 33,321.00 (thirty-three thousand three hundred and twenty-one hryvnias and 00 kopecks), and also paid for project administration.
The children continue their studies at school. However, it is very difficult for them to go down to the bomb shelter during air raids. Sofia goes down slowly, and Andrii uses a wheelchair. They study to the best of their ability, but with great pleasure. The other children have got used to Andriy and Sofia and are slowly trying to play together. Among their new achievements: Sofia has learnt to blow her nose, which, according to the defectologist, is an impetus for speech. Andriy is standing well near a support and trying to squat. 
So far, all the funds transferred from the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace have been spent on the children's needs.
