Ease the pain of Kuprienko Polina. 2017

Hi! My name is Polinka, I am almost 8 years old and I am a very nice girl. I am turning to you, the kind-hearted people, for help, because without your support I am bound to endless sufferings! You can't even imagine how much pain I have gone through in my life. My parents, my elder sister and all my relatives love me so much. Maybe it is the very reason I have not given up, where even grown up would have their hands down.

When I was 1,5 months old I got sick with a lightning form of purulent meningitis and sepsis. I fell into a coma overnight. They fought for my life for three more months. I suffered a strong hemorrhagic syndrome – it was a solid wound inside, swelling of the brain was that big that my little head increased twice, necrosis of the extremities started to develop. Doctors did not believe that I would survive. But I fought till the end and overcame that illness! However with the harsh consequences – everything almost burnt inside my head b cause of that disease.

All my little body is constrained by powerful tone, often hands and fists clamp, so the elbows form a contracture. That hurts real bad. My mom carries me around on her hands, we do not go outside and sleep really bad all these years. So much I can't control my body that I barely can hold my head, cannot sit and, moreover, walk. If you only knew how much my mother dreams that I could do something of the above! Only God knows how many tears my mom cried out during all this time, while I cannot even talk to comfort her.

We do physical exercises every day, also mom takes m to the clinic of Dr. Koziavkin in Truskavets. Only there I was not refused a treatment! They agreed to take me on even though I am a difficult patient, often I get tortured by seizures of epilepsy, whereas nobody wants to deal with such. So my mom grabs any straw of possible help! Moreover, considering that after six courses of treatment I have good results: I have learned to take my fists into the mouth, can lean over from one side of the body to another, I learned to tighten my legs and hold my head, laying on a tummy. My milk teeth began to get loose well.

After the last course, I had four milk teeth fall out during one month and regular teeth began to grow! Also, my sleeping gets better, my body relaxes better and my contractions became crisp, thus there is a chance to restore the joints! And most importantly - the hump left my back and my chest leveled! Recently there was a planned medical overview by the doctors who came to see me in my house and they all noted the improvements in my appearance! Without this rehabilitation, it will only get worse and the pain will grow stronger. But children should not suffer so much, there is so little joy in my life!
