Polina dreams of living

Polina is a 3rd year student at the University of Customs and Finance, majoring in International Relations. She found out about her illness by accident. For some time she had been suffering from chest and back pain. An X-ray showed a tumour close to her heart and superior vena cava. 
In accordance with the agreement No. 21 on cooperation between the CO ICF ‘Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace’ and the Charity Operator of the Charity Fund “POMAGAEM” dated 31.08.2020 and the additional agreement No. 21.284 dated 11.10.2024, the project ‘Polina Dreams of Living’ was posted on the website of the CO ICF ‘UMB’ - dobro.ua - to attract donations to pay for Polina Zagoruyko's treatment.
Subsequently, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the dobro.ua website to purchase Polina's medicines. Therefore, according to letters No. 751 dated 10.12.2024 and No. 19 dated 14.01.2025, we received the collected UAH 54,200.00 (fifty-four thousand two hundred hryvnias and 00 kopecks) and UAH 54,400.00 (fifty-four thousand four hundred hryvnias and 00 kopecks) to the account of the Foundation and continued to collect on the dobro.ua platform.
The funds received in the amount of UAH 54,200.00 (fifty-four thousand two hundred hryvnias and 00 kopecks) were spent in December 2024, and UAH 54,400.00 (fifty-four thousand four hundred hryvnias and 00 kopecks) in January 2025 for the purchase of regular courses of Kitruda for the young woman. 
Later, according to the letter №134 dated 28.03.2025, we sent a request to close the collection, reduce the amount of the project on UBB to the actual amount raised - 136 553.62 UAH (one hundred and thirty-six thousand five hundred and fifty-three hryvnias, 62 kopecks), and transfer 27 953.62 UAH (twenty-seven thousand nine hundred and fifty-three hryvnias, 62 kopecks) to our bank account to pay for Polina's treatment.
Thanks to the funds received, we purchased and transferred the necessary medicines for the girl in the amount of UAH 21,125.94 (twenty-one thousand one hundred and twenty-five hryvnias, 94 kopecks), and also paid for the project administration.
Recently, Polya went abroad to Denmark. The girl had a good trip. Now she is waiting for a full examination and treatment.
So far, all the funds transferred from the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace have been spent on the girl's needs.
