Smile through the pain

Dear friends! If you’re reading these lines, you aren’t just casual people in Artem’s life. So, you aren’t indifferent to mother’s Ponomarenko Halyna only son’s fate. She told us about her son Artem not so much. The boy’s already 18 years old. In short, he has a heavy form of cerebral palsy, microcephaly and epilepsy from birth. But this is quite enough for the child’s being sick from birth, as the doctors predicted. Nevertheless, Artem’s parents’ strong character and his persistent thirst for living have done a lot.

All the years of the boy’s life were filled with constant rehabilitation and various methods of treatment for his development. The family made every effort to make Artem feeling better. They went through hard trials, from expensive permanent medical treatment and constant rehabilitations to surgeries. As a result, Artem has great progress now.

All the years he has been growing and struggling, the family coped with difficulties by themselves, never asking for help. Unfortunately, Artem’s father who has always supported son died in 2014. It became very difficult for the boy's mother and now she needs a helping shoulder from us. Believe me, supporting and rehabilitating such a sufficiently grown-up child with a serious illness is so hard that isn’t beyond his mother’s power. We are so grateful to everyone for your kind hearts and hope that together we could help this family!
