Until the age of seven, Yuriy grew up as a healthy, cheerful, and active boy. But after contracting COVID-19, his body began to rapidly weaken. Another shock came when, on the eve of Yuriy's tenth birthday, his father left for the front to defend his homeland. And the child's body could not withstand it. A few months later, the boy began to lose weight rapidly, lost his appetite, began to drink a lot of water, and often woke up at night. His mother sounded the alarm and turned to doctors. After tests, Yuriy was urgently hospitalized. The diagnosis was type 1 diabetes.

This is an incurable disease that requires daily monitoring of blood sugar levels. Every day, Yura has to prick his fingers dozens of times to avoid critical conditions. To remedy this, continuous glucose monitoring sensors are needed. They help to monitor sugar levels in real time without pain, signaling any threats. They allow the child to sleep peacefully, be active, play, and learn without constant fear. The world is already full of horror and uncertainty – help lift this burden from children's shoulders!
