During the war, mother and daughter were forced to leave their native Kharkiv and establish their new, specific and incomprehensible life in another city – in Kremenchuk. Finding anticonvulsant drugs for Mariyka is now the most urgent problem, because all of her mother's income consists of social assistance. Maria's father is deprived of parental rights and has never taken any part in the child's life.
