Vital medicines are needed. 3
This strong woman believes that her strength will not leave her, and she is able to live a full life despite her complex disease. Inna has been living with epilepsy for six years and constantly suffers from seizures. She has managed to cope with depression and panic attacks for a long time, but she cannot lead a social life as she did before the disease. Her career and social life are somewhere behind her. There is no point in even making far-reaching plans. Her life today depends entirely on the medications she takes every day.
These medications reduce the number of seizures, but they cannot cure a person completely. Today, Inna's condition is stable, with no deterioration. But if she stops taking her anticonvulsant medication, the consequences will be severe.
Inna cannot buy her own medication because she lost her only job, which allowed her to survive, due to the war and her health condition. She lives with her retired mother. Her only 20-year-old son left Ukraine to seek a different life. He supports his mother with money, but this is not enough to cover all medical expenses.
Although Inna's life requires a lot of moral effort, this strong-willed woman remains optimistic, hopes to have grandchildren, believes in her luck and is very grateful for the support of caring people. Let's help her keep going!
