Liza, an 8-year-old girl, is remarkably sociable and cherishes interactions with other children. Sadly, her medical condition has now limited her to mostly communicating by phone.

When the full-scale war erupted, Liza and her mother had to seek refuge abroad. However, Liza’s health deteriorated, prompting their return to Ukraine. The girl has two complicated diagnoses: neurofibromatosis and congenital scoliosis.

Liza has already endured multiple surgeries to save her spine, yet the most crucial one is still on the horizon. The doctors have proposed a sophisticated operation involving the use of implants to stabilize her spine, a procedure that costs 260,800 UAH.

Unfortunately, her family faces financial challenges in affording this vital surgery. Her mother, an economist, and her father, who is living with a group 2 disability, are struggling to gather the necessary funds. Delaying this surgery could risk Liza’s mobility, possibly leading to paralysis.

Let’s unite to help Liza reclaim her joyful childhood and the company of her friends. Please, join this fundraising effort!
