Reclaiming childhood’s joyful moments

Five-year-old Myroslava, from a large family, loves playing with her siblings, enjoying the playground, and watching cartoons. Unfortunately, her childhood is currently on pause.

From an early age, Myroslava has been battling congenital internal hydrocephalus, a complex developmental disability that now threatens her eyesight. She urgently needs surgery to implant a programmable shunt system, with consumables costing 84 855 UAH.

Until now, her family has self-funded her medical expenses, but now they are seeking additional support. The girl’s mother takes care of the children at home, and her father earns a living as a market vendor. Their greatest wish is to see Myroslava thrive and develop alongside her peers.
