Air for Tymur

        Timur was just 5 years old when war came to their town of Polohy in the Zaporizhzhia region. For 9 months, the family lived in a damp cellar. It was cramped and frightening there, with explosions rumbling overhead. Soon, little Timur developed swelling of the nasal mucosa and began to cough, which grew worse every day. When he found it difficult to breathe, Natalia realised that the children needed to be taken away urgently.
      In accordance with Cooperation Agreement No. 21 between the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ and the charitable aid operator Charitable Foundation ‘POMAGAEM’ dated 31 August 2020, and Supplementary Agreement No. 21. No. 332 of 19 August 2025, the ‘Air for Timur’ project was launched on the website of the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ – dobro.ua – with the aim of raising funds to cover the cost of Timur Dyachko’s treatment.
      During the fundraising campaign, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the website of the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ – dobro.ua – to purchase medicines and special dietary products for the boy. Therefore, in accordance with letters No. 490 dated 12 September 2025 and No. 265 dated 18 June 2026, we received the raised amounts of 13,017.00 UAH (thirteen thousand seventeen hryvnias, 00 kopecks) and 11,434.00 UAH (eleven thousand four hundred and thirty-four hryvnias, 00 kopecks) into the fund’s account and continued the fundraising campaign on the dobro.ua platform.
      Thanks to the funds received, in September 2025, medicines totalling 13,017.00 UAH (thirteen thousand seventeen hryvnias 00 kopecks) were purchased and delivered to the young man.
      In June this year, we once again helped to provide the boy with medication, contributing 11,434.00 UAH (eleven thousand four hundred thirty-four hryvnias) towards the cost.
      Timur’s condition is currently stable, but the heat makes it difficult for him to walk quickly or run. His family are keeping a close eye on how he is feeling and following all the doctors’ advice. He doesn’t feel very well in hot weather, so on particularly hot days he tries to stay at home. When it cools down, he enjoys going for walks and particularly loves relaxing by the river.
      In the summer, Timur enjoys playing football, building with LEGO, and is keen on playing draughts. He particularly enjoys playing ‘Spies’, a game he plays with other children. It’s a great way to spend time outdoors and enjoy the summer.
      At present, all the funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the child’s needs; the project is still raising funds.
