The right to free move

The "Right to Free Movement" project began on November 24, 2023 with the goal of raising funds for the rehabilitation of Maria Kivnyuk, who has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy. Mariyka constantly struggles with spasticity. This is uncontrolled muscle tension that causes pain. Regular rehabilitation courses reduce muscle tone.

At the beginning of the project, it was planned to collect UAH 43,740.00 (forty three thousand seven hundred and forty hryvnias). But later, it became possible to pay for part of the rehabilitation at state expense. So, BF "Happy Child" received a new account from the center in the amount of UAH 19,200.00. According to Letter No. 53 dated May 1, 2024, the fund appealed to the Board of Directors of the MBF "UBB" with a request to reduce the amount of the project from UAH 43,740.00. up to UAH 19,200.00

On May 10, 2024, 19,200 hryvnias, 00 kopecks, were transferred to the account of the BF "Happy Child" from the BO MBF "UBB".

From August 19, 2024 to August 30, 2024, Mariyka received treatment at the Kozyavkina clinic. The girl underwent a course of general massage and physical therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy. Maryika's level of spasticity decreased, muscle tone normalized and, as a result, her mood improved significantly! Excellent results were obtained after facial massage. This pleasant procedure reduced the muscle tension of the girl's face, improved Maria's facial expressions and speech.
