A precise weapon against a terrible disease

In February 2024, Iryna was suddenly diagnosed with left breast cancer. The oncologist found a fibroadenoma, and a mammogram and ultrasound confirmed it. But the pain and swelling did not go away after a month. At the end of February, a CT scan helped to detect the cancer.
In accordance with the agreement No. 21 on cooperation between the CO ICF ‘Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace’ and the Charity Operator of the Charity Foundation ‘POMAGAYEM’ dated 31.08.2020 and the additional agreement No. 21.299 dated 12.02.2025, the project ‘Aimed Weapon for a Terrible Disease’ was posted on the website of the CO ICF ‘UMB’ - dobro.ua - to attract donations to pay for the treatment of Iryna Mezenets.
At the end of February 2025, thanks to the donors of the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace who closed Iryna's collection, we received UAH 86,416.00 (eighty-six thousand four hundred and sixteen, 00 kopecks) to the foundation's current account for the purchase of medicines and project administration.
In February of this year, we purchased and transferred the necessary medicines for the woman's treatment for a total of UAH 82,301.00 (eighty-two thousand three hundred and one hryvnias and 00 kopecks), and also paid for the project administration. 
Iryna's condition is currently stable. She is very grateful to all the people who care for her for such important and timely help. Another computed tomography scan is planned for mid-April, which should show the first results of treatment. 
So far, all the funds transferred from the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace have been spent on the woman's needs.
