Run with credit to the Heart 2014

Charity Event "Run With Credit to The Heart" will take place in five cities of Ukraine this autumn. Goal of these races is to help children with congenital heart defects. All raised money will help us to purchase medical equipment for children's hospitals in the cities, where the runs take place. Your contribution to this charitable project will help us improve health and save lives of many children! Please, join our event and invite your friends and relatives!

It's important for every participant to demonstrate their concern by participating in the run and by donating. Inspiration and faith in this case give a way to life. And this journey begins with a run.

Statistically average number of babies, born with congenital heart defects is 7-14 cases per 1000 newborns in Ukraine. 42% of them won’t survive until their first birthday, if they are not operated on time. As the early infant mortality rate in Ukraine comparing to the same data in Europe is almost doubled, we have no time to wait!

Ukrainian hearts should be healthy, while only few medical institutions can diagnose heart diseases and prevent their progress. Who can help and give opportunity to the tiny hearts to beat, if not us. It's very easy to help, just support our project "Run With Credit to The Heart" and give hope and faith for the dream of many families to save little and very important lives! Information:

First "Run With Credit to The Heart" was held in Kherson in 2010, where this year it will be held the fifth time. Generally, the Runs will take place in 5 cities of Ukraine in 2014.

Such cardio equipment as heart rate monitor, Holter ECG monitor, blood analyzers, etc. was purchased for the cardiology departments of the participating cities. With the help of this equipment, doctors continue to save lives successfully every day. Past experience shows that the desire to bring a difference and to make the people healthier helps us to do the impossible!

Schedule of the event:

The aim of this charity event "Run With Credit to The Heart" is to raise 420 000 UAH. in order to purchase cardio equipment requested by the hospitals. This project will be conducted under intense supervision of the event partner - Charitable Foundation "Open Hearts of Ukraine".

Everyone can support the campaign by donating money online at ubb.org.ua. In addition to that race participants can make an optional donation during the event.

All money raised on the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace account and amended by the contributions of the partner companies will be used to purchase equipment. Transfer of equipment will be accountable and transparent. The equipment will be installed in hospitals in terms of free use for members of the local community.

It is very important for everyone to participate in the project. We are waiting for those who care about the fate of young Ukrainians and the future of our country!
