Food for elderly people in Kherson

The lives of elderly people in Kherson are a daily struggle for survival. The Dnipro district of Kherson, which is constantly under fire due to its proximity to the occupied territories, is home to elderly people living alone, including bedridden patients and people with disabilities. They are unable to go out to buy food or get the help they need, so outside support is vital for them. Thanks to your support, we were able to collect and provide people with 195 food packages containing basic necessities. Each package contained cereals, pasta, canned food, flour, oil, tea, biscuits and other basic products, enough for more than 2.5 months of food. Due to constant shelling, delivery by regular logistics services is impossible, so the aid was transferred to our partners, the Charitable Organisation Brotherhood of Kind Hearts, who delivered the sets to the frontline areas in bulletproof vests, risking their own lives. It is thanks to their courage and your kindness that the aid reached every elderly person. We sincerely thank all donors for your sensitivity and support. Together, we can do great things and give a chance at life to those who are left alone with the war. Thank you for creating a dignified old age for the elderly people of Ukraine.
