Food parcels for the elderly in Kherson

The project envisages that the funds raised will be used to purchase 140 basic food packages for the elderly of the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, who remain living in the territory adjacent to the occupied territory and are under constant shelling. Many of them are disabled, bedridden, unable to move or buy food on their own and need assistance.

The cost of one food set is UAH 1,150 including a box for packing the food set. The food parcels include basic cereals such as buckwheat, rice, oatmeal and others, pasta, canned fish, tomato paste, canned meat, flour, oil, sugar, tea, cookies and other items. In total, the set includes about 29 items. One such set is enough for more than 2.5 months. Delivery by a logistics company such as Nova Poshta to such areas of the red zone, which are under constant shelling, is impossible. That is why the Foundation enlisted the support of the Brotherhood of Good Hearts, which delivers aid to the frontline areas of the country in bulletproof vests.
