The story of Denys's struggle with the disease began when he was 3 months old: the boy did not eat or sleep, did not cry and did not turn his head, did not move his arms and legs. "Central nervous system damage, neuromuscular syndrome," was the first entry in Denys's medical book. Later, the boy's condition deteriorated, and new diagnoses were added to the discharge summary: Chu-Tokita-Takenuchi-Kim syndrome, cerebral cortex malformation, epilepsy, developmental delay, vision and metabolic problems, joint weakness, and musculoskeletal abnormalities.

Thanks to timely treatment, Denys began to hold his head at the age of 9 months, sit up at 11 months, and later crawl. Now the boy is 5 years old, and his walking, behavior, and concentration have improved, his back and abdominal muscles have strengthened, the tone of his articulatory muscles for making lip sounds has improved, and his overall body muscle strength has increased. Denys has learned to stand and roll over on unstable surfaces, holding his body, climb stairs with adult support, and speak simple syllables.

Now Denis needs our financial support and faith, because he has a new rehabilitation course ahead of him. Let's help him get there!
