Just to live!

Dasha loves her mother, her father, her grandmother, her brother, her niece and her little dog Mayla. She missed them so much for a year while she was being treated for cancer. Dasha endured all therapies courageously. Her dream of a “normal girl’s life” supported her. And eventually her dream of a discharge from the hospital came true… The girl began to return to normal life. But the last examination detected a recurrence of the disease. Now Dasha needs second-line chemotherapy. But her family cannot buy necessary medicines.

The girl’s disease manifested itself a year ago. Dasha fell from the bike and injured her leg. The doctors treated a contusion for month until they noticed changes in the tibia bone of the right leg. The girl was sent for examination to the Cancer Institute. Here Dasha underwent a surgery. Then there were long months of chemotherapy after which she was discharged home. The girl began to prepare for school.

At the regular examination the doctors shocked the family with a diagnosis: a neoplasm in the lungs. Their despair knew no bounds! Dasha needs more cycles of expensive chemotherapy. The family’s finances exhausted during a year of the child’s treatment. And Dasha’s dad who had suffered a lot because of his daughter’s disease was diagnosed with a thyroid gland cancer in May… Now they have to fight together!
