It will never occur to people who see Oleh for the first time today that this courageous boy has been living with a dangerous cancer of the brain for several years. The right temporal lobe was affected by malignant tumor affected. So an excellent student, at the same time keen on football, singing, dancing, this inquisitive boy for a long time was attached to the hospital and the results of analyzes. Behind Oleh had several complex operations, optic nerve failure, epileptic seizures, and countless chemo and radiation therapies. And all this is under constant threat of the saddest result – brain cancer all the same. But Oleh survived.

And today he is happy to attend school and takes part in all school activities. He has never missed a single trip to interesting places in the Kharkiv region and is now going to Poltava. It turned out that Oleh loves to travel! Everything looks so that the boy wants to make up for everything that the illness took away in his childhood.

"He feels one hundred percent", Oleh’s happy mother shares the news. "The results of the past MRI brought us all to tears. Even doctors did not expect such a positive result without the use of chemotherapy in the treatment of a malignant brain tumor!". But, alas, this is not a victory. The positive dynamics in Oleh’s treatment is directly related to the use of the modern and expensive Zelboraf drug, for which the UBB donors helped raise funds in March this year. One package of this drug costs 57,000 UAH. Of course, the exhausted and financially exhausted Yeromchenko family does not have such funds. Therefore, Oleh is being treated at the expense of donors. Soon the boy will need a new package of the drug. And, as it turned out, it depends on this drug whether Oleh can stay healthy forever. At UBB we collect part of the required amount.
