After Nikita was born, his parents and relatives thought that he would have a carefree childhood. However, at just three months old, he contracted an infectious disease, which became the first serious challenge for the family. And when the boy turned seven months old, a full-scale war broke out. Explosions and shelling forced the family to leave their native Kharkiv in search of safety.

But the real test awaited them a little later. At the age of 2, Nikita was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Since then, the life of the boy and his loved ones has been filled with a constant struggle for health. Today, Nikita is 4 years old, and he needs rehabilitation, as it helps the boy take steps towards development and independence.

“Thanks to the treatment, my child has started to keep his balance better, he has learned new words, and he is already starting to climb and descend stairs better. Nikita has become calmer and can sit and study with a teacher, learning new things. He is interested in everything around him. He has become more sociable,” says Nikita's mother.

But the family's resources are almost exhausted. The ongoing costs of treatment and rehabilitation have become too burdensome, and without our collective support, it will be difficult to continue this important struggle. Help Nikita move toward new victories!
