The boy in the photo is 10-year-old Shevchenko Nazar, who has been ill since childhood. He suffered a brain hemorrhage and hydrocephalus, epilepsy, and later cerebral palsy. Last fall, the boy underwent surgery to replace his shunt, and adults were worried about how and when he would be able to return to rehabilitation.

Surprisingly, during the first week of lessons with the rehabilitation therapist, Nazar was able to use a walker and demonstrated his unbridled desire to walk. Thanks to the lessons with the speech therapist, the boy's speech is becoming clearer and more understandable, and the correctional teachers noted Nazar's good logical thinking and his thirst for knowledge.

Nazar is a very persistent and purposeful boy who makes every effort to improve his condition, because he has a great desire to walk and explore the world. We can help him with this and raise funds for a new rehabilitation course. So please join in!
