Nazarii is a cheerful and creative boy. He loves drawing, riding his bike, is interested in English, and dreams of a carefree childhood. But in March this year, his life changed: he was diagnosed with type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes. When the boy was admitted to the hospital, his blood sugar level was eight times higher than normal.
Every day, Nazarii takes insulin injections and carefully monitors his blood sugar. But even with the same dose of insulin and correctly calculated food intake, his body reacts differently on different days. The scariest thing is that he does not always feel a dangerous drop in glucose levels.
A reliable solution is sensors for continuous glucose monitoring, which allow his mother to track his readings in real time and respond to changes in a timely manner. However, these sensors are very expensive, and needles and test strips for the glucometer must be purchased regularly.
Nazarii's mother is raising him alone and cannot cover all the expenses on her own. In addition, the boy has valgus flat feet, which requires special orthopedic shoes. Let's help Nazarii live without fear, get the necessary sensors, and have a happy, safe childhood!
