Victoria Will Save Petro

Sometimes war shatters plans, but it can never destroy human kindness. This project originally began as a fundraiser for 12-year-old Viktoria (Vika). The little girl dreamed of overcoming bone cancer and walking again. Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of the full-scale war with russia and her urgent evacuation, Vika could not receive her scheduled surgery in time. However, the miracle the girl believed in so deeply did not vanish — it simply found a new address. The chance for recovery that emerged thanks to Viktoria can now save the life of 21-year-old Petro Vasyliv.

         Petro is a future paramedic from the Ivano-Frankivsk region. He studies physiotherapy at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University and dreams of working in emergency medical services. He chose a profession dedicated to saving others, but today, he is the one who urgently needs to be saved.

         Since June 2026, Petro's life has been put on pause within the grey walls of a hospital ward. His diagnosis is equally insidious: osteosarcoma of the thigh. It is an aggressive tumor that destroys the bone. The young man has already bravely endured 6 rounds of chemotherapy in the children's department, and now the decisive moment has come. To save his leg and return to a full life, Petro urgently needs a surgery to replace the affected bone with a donor bio-implant.

         The price of survival is high — over one hundred thousand hryvnias. Petro's family does not have this kind of money, and the surgery must be performed immediately before the tumor destroys the bone tissue irreversibly, making the implant impossible to fit. The funds raised for Viktoria will now become the foundation for saving Petro. Become a miracle worker for this future medic — help Petro win his battle for life!
