The birth and first months of Romchyk's life went smoothly, but suddenly the boy began to eat poorly, regurgitate and lose weight. The parents immediately turned to doctors, who, after an MRI scan, diagnosed Roman with a rare condition: Dandy-Walker syndrome, dysgenesis of the corpus callosum and cerebellar hypotrophy. The doctors could not give a clear prognosis, only said that it was unknown whether he would ever be able to walk and talk, and that this required constant rehabilitation.

Now Roman is 4 years old, and despite all the difficulties, he remains a very cheerful boy who always wants to reach for everything new. He crawls on his buttocks, walks and stands only with the support of adults, because he cannot keep his balance on his own. Roma's fine motor skills and pointing gestures are not sufficiently developed, and he is lagging behind in development. However, he already pronounces the sounds “a” and “e”.

In order for Roman to learn to walk and talk independently and catch up with his peers, he needs quality rehabilitation. Unfortunately, the family has no money to pay for it.
