russia took away our home – helping a family from Marganets

Iryna and her husband Yevgeny raise 9 children from 7 to 16 years old and currently live in Cherkasy. Because of the war, the family was forced to leave their native Marganets, because the city (and surrounding settlements) have been under constant shelling by Russian troops for over a year.

Housing is the biggest difficulty for the family at the moment. In 10 months, I had to change my place of residence three times. Currently, the family rents housing and pays a rent of UAH 20,000, because such a large family needs a large area. In Marhanka, the roof of their native house is partially damaged due to shelling, so they do not plan to return in the near future, and the shelling has not stopped, besides, the city is currently experiencing water problems due to the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP.

Each child in the Andronovs' family-type orphanage has his or her own talents. So, for example, Dmytro and Valery practice Aikido, took part in city and regional competitions; Diana is engaged in vocals, and Sashko likes to cook, especially baking.

As part of this collection, we plan to provide Andronovs' family-type orphanage with household appliances in the form of a freezer, a dishwasher, and a kettle. This equipment will greatly facilitate the life of the family, because none of the above is in the family, and all funds go to rent and living.
