Rostyslav needs an urgent surgery to remove the tumor!

Rostyslav dreamed of becoming a football player. He didn’t miss a single match of his favorite team, read books and magazines about football, played in the local team and his coach predicted a great future. A little over a week ago the guy underwent a surgery aimed at removing a brain tumor. This kind of tumor grows very rapidly and before the guy could proceed to the main chemotherapy treatment it grew again. Rostyslav needs one more surgery. His family asks all kind-hearted people for help because they cannot cope on their own.

The boy's life before the disease was very active. Rostyslav often took part with the local team in the competitions and spent his free time training. Once during a match he injured his leg. The parents went to the local hospital, then to the regional one. There the family got shocked by a terrible diagnosis: a brain tumor.

Rostyslav was sent to the Institute of Neurosurgery for a surgery. There he was operated on and the tumor was removed. Histological study confirmed the diagnosis of glioblastoma. It is the most malignant of all glial tumors that grows rapidly and germinates in the brain tissue. The boy needs an urgent surgery to be able to start the main anticancer treatment.
