The lonely and blind need help

The fate from the beginning was not affectionate to him. After the death of his mother, from the very early years he grew up in an orphanage, and becoming an adult, he could not create a happy family: his wife left him, taking his little daughter, forbidding her father to see her, and eventually forever lost her only native person, remaining on the slope of the years, very lonely, sick and nobody needs... To all the troubles was added a terrible war that came to his village, where during the fire he burned his house together with documents and all uncomplicated property, leaving him with nothing. But the worst thing was ahead – noticed that every day more and more rapidly loses eyesight and becomes almost blind.

The volunteers of the Christian Salvation Service, working in the area where our ward Ivan Kolesnikov lived, brought him to Khmelnytsky, to our Center for Social and Prophylactic Care. After an examination by ophthalmologists, they received a verdict: an immediate operation is required on the progressive cataract of both eyes. At the moment, Ivan is almost completely blind and his condition deteriorates day by day. Because of this, he is completely dependent on the help of the outsiders, who lead him even in the room, not to mention the street, forced to walk with a stick, so as not to fall through blindness and not to be injured, completely helpless and incapable of minimal things without outside help. It's sad and painful to see a lonely, almost nobody needs a person who still wants to see a little bit, so as not to be a burden to others and to cope with the daily challenges of life on their own.

The cost of surgery indicated on the account from an ophthalmologic clinic is not overcast, but in a lonely, homeless and sick person, of course, there is no such amount and help, besides us and you, to him nobody. Therefore, they are forced to seek help in collecting money for an operation to all whose heart does not remain indifferent to someone else's grief who has such sympathy and kindness to people who are less fortunate in their lives.
