Sashko Chornomor is 2 years old and has а spastic tetraparesis, a congenital brain defect and congenital microencephaly, delay in psycho-speech development.

Oleksandr is a very much anticipated child, but during pregnancy, doctors diagnosed the baby with ventriculomegaly (enlargement of the ventricles of the brain) and a cleft upper lip. The boy was born on time with a cleft, and after an MRI scan, he was confirmed to have hydroencephalus. Fortunately, Sasha did not need neurosurgical surgery, but after the age of 6 months, the boy began to show developmental delays.

Sasha has already undergone surgery on his lip, and he also underwent a course of treatment prescribed by a neurologist. After that, he felt better: he began to sit up and take an interest in the world around him: toys, birds and a pet cat. But, unfortunately, for his age, he still cannot do what his peers do with ease. That's why he needs to continue his rehabilitation and acquire new skills and abilities.

Thanks to this project, Sasha will be able to go to a new course of treatment at a rehabilitation center and become one step closer to recovery and a healthy childhood without limits.
