Tymofii is 14 years old. At such a young age, he has already had to endure unspeakable pain – two years ago, the war forced him and his family to leave their native Pokrovsk district forever. Tymofii lost everything he was used to: his friends, his relatives, his surroundings.
The second blow was the disappearance of his father in the war. Later, the boy learned of his father's death, which left a painful wound that he still lives with today. Soon, COVID-19 became the last straw. Tymofii's body simply could not cope, and he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
Despite all the losses he has suffered, Tymofii is fighting. Continuous glucose monitoring sensors help him greatly in this struggle, allowing him to control his sugar levels and live more peacefully and safely. But the sensors need to be replaced regularly, and their cost is a significant burden for the family.
Help provide Tymofii with stability in his treatment and peace in his daily life!
