Serious struggle of Dima

   In accordance with the agreement No. 21 on cooperation between the ICF ‘Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace’ and the Charity Operator ‘POMAGAYEM’ dated 31.08.2020 and the additional agreement No. 21.208 dated 14.06.2021, the project ‘Dima's Serious Struggle’ was posted on the website of the ICF ‘UMB’ - dobro.ua - to attract donations for the treatment of Dmytro Mikhnenko.
   Subsequently, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the UBB website to purchase medicines for the boy. Therefore, according to the letter №124 dated 25.08.2021, we received the collected UAH 32,900.00 (thirty-two thousand nine hundred hryvnias and 00 kopecks) to the account of the Foundation and continued to collect on the dobro.ua platform.
   Subsequently, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the UBB website to purchase medicines for the guy. Therefore, according to the letter №124 dated 25.08.2021, we received the collected UAH 32,900.00 (thirty-two thousand nine hundred hryvnias and 00 kopecks) to the account of the Foundation and continued to collect on the dobro.ua platform.
   Thanks to the funds raised on the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace website, in 2021 we purchased medicines for Dima in the amount of UAH 16,252.81 (sixteen thousand two hundred and fifty-two hryvnias and 81 kopecks), in September 2022 we purchased vitamins for him in the amount of UAH 3,334.18 (three thousand three hundred and thirty-four hryvnias and 00 kopecks).
   In 2023, we helped Dmitry pay for medical services for a total of UAH 8,446.50.50 (eight thousand four hundred and forty-six hryvnias and 50 kopecks), and in 2024 we supported the young man with medicines for UAH 9,706.52 (nine thousand seven hundred and six hryvnias and 52 kopecks). 

   In March of this year, we assisted the Mykhnenko family with the payment of Dima's medication in the amount of 1,306.05 UAH (one thousand three hundred and six hryvnias, 05 kopecks), and at the end of July, we paid for a scheduled examination with a total cost of 3,490.00 UAH (three thousand four hundred and ninety hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
   Dima is now feeling more or less normal, although there are still some difficulties. School is not easy for him, as he has to catch up on the material he missed due to his long illness. Recently, he fell seriously ill with bronchitis and missed three weeks of classes because of it. 
   His main interest is focused on the computer, although Dima sometimes goes for walks with his friends.  
   We plan to use the remaining unused funds in the amount of 17,463.94 UAH (seventeen thousand four hundred sixty-three hryvnia, 94 kopecks) for Dima's needs in 2025.
