Cheerful little Oleg is only six years old, but he has been learning to live with a serious illness – type 1 diabetes – for almost a year now. Despite all the tricks played by this insidious disease, the boy continues to enjoy every day, cheering up his family and friends with his laughter.

Unfortunately, diabetes prevents him from leading an active lifestyle, as Oleg spends a lot of time measuring his blood sugar levels: excessively high or low sugar levels are very dangerous to human health and life. Therefore, to reduce the risks, Oleg needs sensors for continuous monitoring of his sugar levels. This will save the nerves of his relatives, who will not have to constantly rely on measurements, as well as Oleg's childhood. The boy will be able to spend his free time with his sister and friends instead of receiving painful injections and avoiding any stressful trips outside the house.

But right now, Oleg's mother cannot afford to buy him the sensors and everything else he needs – she is raising two children on her own. Their father went missing while defending our country from a fierce enemy. The boy needs to start first grade this fall, but his mother's sole income as a teacher is not enough to cover even his medical treatment. Don't let unfortunate circumstances take away Olezhyk's childhood as well. Help us buy sensors for him!
