GT for the Dzherelo. Charity media marathon

On the occasion of the All-Ukrainian Day of Good Deeds together with Lux FM, as well as with the support of "Channel 24" and the web sites zaxid.net and 24tv.ua, we are raising funds for children and youth with disabilities in Lviv.

Today, more than 250 children and young people with multiple disabilities come daily for programs and rehabilitation to Dzherela. The building of the Dzherelо Centre is over 6,000 square meters of space equipped for the needs of people with disabilities. 6 Dzherelo’s minibuses bring more then 100 pupils to Dzherelo every day, and another one helps specialists to make home visits to our youngest children and their families. In addition, 4 branches of the Center for youth with disabilities already operate in different districts of Lviv. The Dzherelo team has more than 170 employees.

Back in 1994, the city authorities allocated the building, which is now known as the Dzherelo Centre, to our organization. For 15 years, with the help of philanthropists and donors, we have completed the premises of the rehabilitation center on the basis of inclusiveness and accessibility. The foundation of the building and part of the communications were laid during the Soviet period, and in the initial stages of our activity we lacked experience, funds and technical support to correct all mistakes or anticipate possible risks. Therefore, we are now facing consequences – high humidity on the ground floor, uneven heating, high heat loss, problems with sewerage, water supply and ventilation.

That is why we set ourselves such an ambitious and difficult task – to correct this situation and implement the project - Energetic renovation and modernization of the utility system of the Center's building.

We ask you to join and help us modernize the utility systems of the Centre's building. So it will serve those who are in need for many years to come. Because without the Dzherelo Centre – all their lives is a quarantine.
