Scoliosis threatens Zhasmin 's life

Zhasmin urgently needs spinal surgery – without it, the girl may die. Jasmine began to develop scoliosis a long time ago, but now the situation has become critical: the curvature angle has reached 70 degrees. Jasmine lives with her father's family, and his wife is also disabled. There is no one to help pay for a set of implants for the surgery except us.

When the girl was 4 years old, she was visiting her grandmother. She noticed that her granddaughter's back was curved. An orthopedist diagnosed scoliosis and recommended massage courses, exercise therapy, swimming, and wearing a corset. These measures do not always help, and in this case, it was difficult to follow the instructions.

Zhasmin's mother often left the children with her husband and disappeared from home for two or three months. When she was at home, unfortunately, she also could not cope with her parental responsibilities. In 2019, she separated from her husband, and in August 2023, the court deprived her of parental rights. 

Zhasmin lives with her father in Brovary. Mykola and his wife Svitlana are making every effort to improve the child's health. Being in a wheelchair does not prevent Svitlana from working in a rehabilitation center, where Zhasmin regularly works with specialists. 

The girl is developing with a slight delay, but has already learned to read and write well, and has almost caught up with the school curriculum. Zhasmin agreed with her father: if she finishes 6th grade well, he will fulfill her dream of seeing Paris.

In her spare time, Zhasmin draws pictures by numbers, engages in diamond painting, and communicates with friends.

Professor Levytskyi from the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt" is ready to perform an operation to correct spinal deformity by installing Socore system implants. Failure to resort to surgical intervention may result in death.
