The most important thing for an elderly person who has retired and lost their usual social role is communication. Staying in their own shell for a long time, the elderly lose their lust for life. In case of loneliness, communication can be a constant source of energy for a person. The "Druha molodist" club has been operating in Kharkiv for more than 23 years and gives seniors the opportunity to live a quality and active life through regular events and meetings at the Club.

The main goal of the Club is to organize leisure activities for lonely elderly people. Given the constant impact of stress in the war, in addition to socializing, grandparents receive important support and various assistance: food aid, psychological meetings, birthday celebrations, etc. Over the years, the Club has formed a strong self-help group that has proven to be a useful and kind support for the elderly.

To organize its events, the Club needs goodies for tea parties. Of course, no meeting is complete without them. After all, who among the elderly does not like to drink a cup of hot tea with cookies and discuss current issues? Since this project is self-funded, the foundation has no money for this item of expenditure, so it has to look for it through fundraising. Today, we are launching a fundraiser to buy goodies to organize meetings for the elderly as part of the Second Youth club. The amount of money raised is not large, so we ask you to support our project and give the elderly the opportunity to communicate and believe in victory together!
