Spasticity binds his body – but not his spirit

"Makar was born on February 11, 2021. He is our long-awaited, boundlessly beloved son, the meaning of our lives and our greatest love. When he was just one year old, a terrible turning point occurred in our lives – Makar had his first epileptic seizure," says the mother of the 5-year-old boy.

Since then, the family has been living in a constant battle for his health, every day searching for treatment options: they travel to doctors, Makar undergoes examinations, and therapy is being selected for him to at least reduce the seizures somewhat and give him a chance to develop.

When the boy turned one year old, Makar was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, and epileptic status. Due to his condition, Makar cannot yet hold his head up independently, and he still cannot sit, crawl, or walk. All of this is extraordinarily difficult for him because of the spasticity that binds his body.

But despite everything, Makar is a bright and very responsive boy! He loves attention and sincerely tries to interact with the world.

"In his eyes we see every day the desire to live, to develop, and to be by our side," adds his mother, asking for support that will allow their son to attend rehabilitation. Please help him with this!
