Joiner's workshop for young people with mental retardation!

Make your contribution to the development of carpentry workshops for young people with disabilities.Our goal is to teach young people the woodcraft skills to help them better realize themselves in the future.

Disability should not interfere with man's desire to work, to be useful and enjoy the results of the labor.
We plan to use carpentry to make frames for pictures, parts for wooden toys, erectors and souvenirs.
For more than 20 years, at the Dzherelo Centre young people with complex physical and intellectual disabilities are being involved in cooking, souvenir production, printing and drama studios, vegetables growing. Thus, they acquire necessary independence skills.

Our youth is ready to work and develop, learn and improve their skills.
Today, we already have the renovated premises accessible to people in wheelchairs, as well as skilled craftsmen and teachers who know how to discover the talent and apply individual approach to each person. However, for full operation, the carpentry workshop needs some special equipment, namely: circular saws, thickness planers, spindle moulders and jigsaws.
