Heartbeat

The Ivanov family from Kropyvnytskyi is dad, mother, the oldest son of Roma and the youngest daughter Anna. Dad works as a security guard, mom is on maternity leave and takes care of Anechka. Until recently, their lives were quiet and serene, but one terrible diagnosis turned life upside down. "Congenital heart disease", parents heard at the daughter’s last physical examination, "an open ductus arteriosus". Without hesitation, Ania was sent to the Amosov Institute for further examination, and there the diagnosis was confirmed.  

The girl needs to be operated on and the duct closed, but, fortunately, this can be done by the endovascular method without cutting the chest with the help of an occluder. However, its price - almost 80,000 UAH - is sky-high for the family. Therefore, we are beginning to raise funds for a heart implant that will save the girl’s life.
