High day for the lonelyhearts

In the Dnipro there is the largest geriatric boarding house in Ukraine, it was built in far 1979. Now 605 elderly and disabled people are living there, many of them are immobile. The purpose of our project is to give a holiday to the residents of a boarding house for the residents of this boarding house. Because day after day these people watch mostly the walls of their rooms and each other. And there is no hope for a better life...

This place is not only for the elder people but also for people with disabilities who have reached the age of 18 years. They are completely alone. If you could only see how much they are happy with our clowns, ordinary caramels and art therapy! Just like little children! And you cannot imagine how much happiness are in the eyes of these people, when they have visitors! Unfortunately, this happens very rarely.

Each such sign of attention from the side of society is the event. And we really want such moments to happen much more often.
We have thought for a long time how we can regularly bring joy to these people.
After all, not all residents of the boarding house have a TV. Almost nobody can afford himself to go to the exhibitions, the theater, cinema or concert. Occasionally visiting volunteers would like to share their attention and love with everyone, but, unfortunately, it is very difficult to embrace the immense. Imagine, you can make a person happy with simple actions: talk to him, walk along the corridor or take him outside, as he sits in the room all day without seeing the sun! The medical staff is not enough at all, and around the same helpless neighbors...

Therefore, our clowns try to come to the boarding house on a regular basis to brighten up the everyday life of these people. To do this, they need balloons and sweets. Our project for the total amount of 30 000 UAH will allow to ensure there such small holidays. Let's add colors to the lives of these people!
