Easter is a holiday that brings the light of hope, kindness and mercy. At this time, we want everyone to feel the warmth of human care and faith in the best. That's why the Academy of Advanced Aesthetics initiated the Light of Easter charity project to give the residents of the Tarashchanka Geriatric Nursing Home a sense of celebration and family comfort.
The Tarashchany Geriatric Nursing Home includes two departments: a psychoneurological department and a department for the elderly. Here, those who no longer have a family or the ability to take care of themselves find peace and care.
Currently, 149 people live in the nursing home, mostly men, as well as many internally displaced people who lost their homes due to the war.
For each of them, this home is more than just a social care facility. It is a place where they find support, companionship and at least a little bit of warmth that everyone needs. Easter is an opportunity to remind them that they are remembered and that there are people who are ready to share the joy of the holiday with them and give them a little bit of light and love.
Project goal:
- Purchase of 149 Easter hampers containing festive goodies and personal care items.
- Arrangement of a leisure room and library, including the purchase of an Epson EB-W06 projector and a 100’ screen for watching films and organising cultural events.
The project is being implemented with the support of the Academy of Advanced Aesthetics in cooperation with the Let's Help Charitable Foundation.
