Little Yegor needs help to continue his vital rehabilitation.
The boy has complex congenital brain development disorders and associated conditions that affect his breathing, movement, and overall development. Yegor has difficulty moving: he cannot sit, stand, or walk without assistance; speak or understand language; or play, eat, or care for himself independently.
His only chance to learn to better control his body, strengthen his muscles, and acquire new skills is through regular courses of intensive physical rehabilitation at the International Center for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology. The previous course has already shown positive results, but treatment must be continuous. His mother is raising two children on her own and cannot afford to pay for the next rehabilitation course.
"My son loves attention and tenderness. He likes it when I read him stories, sing songs, or just hold his hand. Every new movement, every little reaction is a huge victory for us. What comes naturally to other children is the result of daily effort and rehabilitation for Yegor. I see how hard he tries, and I believe that with the support of caring people, he will be able to learn even more," says the boy’s mother.
That is why the family is asking for support – so that Yegor can continue his recovery and take his next important steps in his development.
