Nastia is 10 years old, and she is an example of true strength, determination, and love for life. Despite her diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, Nastia does not give up. She lives an active life: she dances, participates in competitions and contests, and often returns with awards.
Living with diabetes is a daily struggle. Constant monitoring of blood sugar levels, frequent painful finger pricks, fear of sudden changes in glucose – Nastia experiences all of this every day. And during performances, training, or on the road, the risks are especially high. This small device allows her to quickly and painlessly check her sugar level at any time – all she has to do is hold her phone or scanner up to the sensor. It also warns her in time when her glucose level becomes dangerous. Thanks to this, Nastia can train, perform on stage, and simply be a child without fear.
Sensors are not just technology. They are her daily support, her safety, and her freedom. They allow Nastia to remain as bright, active, and determined as ever. However, one sensor only works for 14 days, so support is needed constantly. Any contribution is another step towards a safe childhood for Nastia.
Thank you for your compassion, kindness, and belief that together we can change her life for the better.
