Warmth and comfort for preterm babies

Premature babies need specialized care, particularly in the neonatal intensive care unit. Here, attention is paid to the proper level of temperature, light and noise, which are no less crucial for the healthy development of young patients than any vital equipment. For this purpose, special nursing aids such as positioners, layers and curtains have been created. Unfortunately, many hospitals and medical institutions lack the necessary resources to purchase these products. Our goal is to change that.

In addition to providing appropriate heat, light, and noise levels, there are other important measures that can be taken to support the health and development of premature babies in the NICU. One of these measures is the use of protective covers and curtains for the cuvettes where premature babies are nursed for a long time.

These covers and curtains are designed to provide a safe, enclosed environment for the premature baby, protecting them from external stimuli that can be stressful and overwhelming. They can also help to maintain a constant temperature and reduce noise levels, creating a more relaxing environment for the baby to rest and grow.

Another important tool in the NICU is special nests and positioners. These are specialized devices designed to maintain the baby's position and maintain his or her body temperature. Warming nests are especially important for preterm infants who are unable to regulate their body temperature on their own. By providing a warm and stable environment, these nests can help prevent hypothermia and promote healthy growth.

Positioners, on the other hand, are designed to support a baby's body and prevent from excessive movement that can be harmful to their fragile bodies. They can also help promote proper positioning, which is important for the healthy development of premature babies.
