Therapy for a brave boy

Volodymyr is a brave little boy who lives with childhood autism.

It all started with a speech delay, and the boy was also gaining weight poorly. Instead of words, there was silence. Vova often repeated the same movements with his hands, and when he could not express his emotions or desires, he had tantrums. All this was very frightening for the family.

At the age of 4, Volodymyr was diagnosed with autism (ASD) and was assigned a disability. But despite everything, his spirit did not break. Now he is 5, the boy is working hard with a speech therapist and undergoing sensory integration. Thanks to his daily work, he has already made great progress – words and gestures appear, and the number of tantrums decreases.

However, Volodymyr needs constant support: new courses of correctional, speech therapy and psychological classes to improve communication, understanding of speech and emotions. In addition, the boy needs physical and sensory-integrative therapy and neurological monitoring. All of this is vital for his development, but unfortunately, the family is no longer able to pay for treatment on their own.

On top of that, the family has suffered a loss – Volodymyr's father was killed in the war. It's hard to imagine what the family has been going through since then. We really want to support the boy and his mother, whose life has become a hundred times harder. Let's help raise funds for Vova's therapy!
