Mykola is his mother’s joy, hope, and the meaning of her life. He’s 18 now, and every single year has been a battle — with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, constant pain, and hundreds of seizures each day.

He spent the first 10 days of his life in intensive care on a ventilator. Then another month in the neonatal pathology ward. He was fed through a tube, but his mom patiently taught him to drink from a bottle — and he did it! That was just the beginning of their fight.

 At 1 month — epilepsy. Up to 100 seizures daily.

 At 2 years — cerebral palsy.

 At 18 — scoliosis and increased spasticity due to a pause in rehabilitation.

But Mykola is a fighter! He learned to sit, walk with support, and answer “yes” and “no” with sounds. His mother is his strength and his rock. She never complains — just smiles softly and dreams of the day her son walks on his own, strong and free.
