Tymur dreams of walking. 2

This is Tymur, he is 7 years old and has spastic tetraparesis, expressive-receptive speech disorder, and symptomatic epilepsy. The boy cannot walk or sit on his own and speaks very little – he can only pronounce individual syllables and sounds. He needs rehabilitation.

It all started in 2019 when Tymur suffered a serious illness – viral encephalitis – after which he lost the ability to sit, hold his head up, walk, and talk on his own, and was diagnosed with conditions that he continues to struggle with to this day.

Thanks to your support, the boy was able to attend a course of treatment that brought him new victories:

"Tymur's coordination has improved, he has become more attentive and active, and he is better at performing exercises that were previously difficult for him. It's a lot of work for him because he still can't walk or sit on his own, but he's trying his best. Every result is a step forward for us. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who joined in the support and made this rehabilitation possible," says Tymur's mom, Diana.
