Three scary news

Matvii’s mother’s pregnancy was remarkably good, but the day before the childbirth during the ultrasound scan, the doctor said that the boy had dilated ventricles in his brain. This was the first terrible news. Immediately after birth, the baby gained weight poorly and became ill with jaundice. During treatment, the doctor established a new diagnosis: dysplasia of the pelvic and hip joints. This was the second terrible news.

Matvii spent 2 months in stirrups, began to hold the head when he was already 2 months old. Concerned parents then thought that everything was fine. However, as time went on, the boy never sat alone: neither at 6 months nor at 9. After that, the parents heard the third terrible news: their son had left-sided hemiparesis, cerebral palsy. This finally undermined the emotional state of Matthew's parents. However, they took themselves in hand and began to treat his son: a year and 6 months the boy took the first step, said the first word at 4 years.

Matvii’s condition improves from permanent rehabilitation, but his parents' financial situation is exhausted, they can no longer pay for his son’s treatment on their own. Therefore, we open fundraising for the treatment of Matvii in the Priorytet Center and urge all of you to join in and help Matvii to be healthy!
