13 years of struggle for the first step

Until recently, Maksymka dreamed of getting to the Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic to undergo another rehabilitation course.  The trip was scheduled for March 31, 2025, but unfortunately, fate prepared a new ordeal for the boy and his family.

            In mid-March, Maksym's parents noticed disturbing changes in his health and appearance. After examination, doctors made a terrible diagnosis - Hodgkin's lymphoma.

          This is a cancer of the lymphatic system, which is part of our immune defense. In children, treatment requires a particularly delicate approach to avoid long-term complications. Currently, Max is undergoing his second chemotherapy at the hematology department of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Clinical Children's Hospital. Despite the serious diagnosis, the boy is holding on with courage. His family believes in the best - and so do we.

             Treatment in the department is free of charge, but there are a number of expenses that the family cannot cover on their own: paid tests; medications to maintain the condition of the underlying disease - cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia; hygiene products and diapers.

            Maksym believes that after treatment he will be able to undergo his long-awaited rehabilitation. In the meantime, let's help him overcome his serious illness and realize his dream of walking on his own.
