7-year-old Nikita is learning to hold his head! Yes, you didn’t hear: don’t walk, don’t jump, but just keep your head straight. It would seem that such a simple skill, but it requires extraordinary efforts from the boy. And all because Nikita has cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, strabismus and episyndrome. Despite his illnesses, the boy smiles, is happy to be in contact with doctors and rehabilitation specialists, and he also really wants to get well.
These diagnoses, which Nikita has been struggling with all his life, appeared in his medical history immediately after birth. This was followed by treatment, rehabilitation in Ukraine and China, and the inhuman efforts of the whole family, which believes that this courageous boy will become like other healthy children – his peers.
Doctors note that after the last course of treatment, Nikita got stronger, his back became straighter, his neck and arms got stronger, the boy already understands numbers well, his spatial orientation has improved. And Nikita can hold his head on his own for almost 2 minutes! These are very good results, and treatment cannot be interrupted even for a minute.
It's a pity, but the financial condition of this family is so depleted by the constant therapy of their son that they simply do not have the opportunity to pay for Nikita's future treatment on their own.
Friends, in the maelstrom of bad news and everyday bustle, let's stop for a second, hug our relatives and wish them good health. We also ask you to support Nikita, because thanks to the funds that we plan to raise within the framework of this project, we will be able to pay for a new rehabilitation course for him.
Doing good and helping those who really need it is so easy!
