These kids may lose mom

Natalia is the mother of two adorable girls. At 22 weeks of so much desired pregnancy, this woman heard a terrible diagnosis – a low-grade invasive non-specific type of breast cancer – cancer... At the risk of losing her life, Natalia decides to give life to her baby. And the treatment began. The woman underwent 4 courses of chemotherapy, which made it possible to bring the baby to 36 weeks, but, unfortunately, the medicaments stopped giving positive results. A decision had to be made. With the help of the doctors of the perinatal center, premature birth was caused and on June 20, 2019, Natalia gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. But this joyous event was overshadowed by the need for an immediate return to treatment... 

And a week after delivery, Natalia underwent surgery – a radical mastectomy on the right and removal of axillary lymph nodes. A week later, chemotherapy was started again, which was scheduled for 12 weekly courses. To date, Natalia has undergone most of her chemotherapy courses while caring for her baby and taking her older daughter to school to grade 3.

Currently, to continue the treatment, the woman needs Paclitaxel 50 ml in the amount of 1 fl worth 3 443 UAH. Further on Natalia's plan it is imperative to undergo a CT scan of the body to determine the effectiveness of treatment and to prescribe radiation therapy. There are still so many trials ahead that Natalia is set to overcome, but unfortunately, the family's financial resources have already been exhausted and she has to turn to all indifferent people for help.
