Little Kira has leukemia

Kira Welter is a sociable and very positive girl. She's only five years old. Quite recently, Kira and her parents lived in Bakhmut, Donetsk region. From the age of three, Kira went to kindergarten, like all ordinary children. But too often I was ill with colds. The doctors only laughed, referring to the adaptation in the children's team. In March of this year, the girl got bronchitis. The blood counts in the general analysis were low, but since the child was sick a lot, this was not given importance.

After treatment, her mother decided not to take her daughter to the kindergarten for a couple of months, so that the body rested from the drugs and recovered. In early May, the girl fell unsuccessfully and injured her leg. She began to limp, and by the end of the month, alarming symptoms appeared that alerted parents and doctors: bruises on the body, general weakness, wounds on the oral mucosa. The diagnosis was acute lymphoblastic leukemia...

In connection with the proximity of military operations near his native city and the need for long intensive treatment, the family was offered to treat Kira in Sumy. Kira hardly endures the medical procedures, but keeps well: he plays, communicates, always finds what to do. Cheerful and active, she quickly got used to the new situation and new people. Feels like a baby, normally, willingly communicates and constantly smiles. She especially likes to take pictures and show off her toys!
