To the first form – on her own feet

Zhenya is the only child in Firsovsky's family. Boy's father dreamt that when he has he would play ball with him and teach him to ride a bicycle. Just as his own father did. Only a half of the dream became true. His wife bore him a son. But the boy was born ill. He later was diagnosed a cerebral palsy. Years passed and thanks to constant rehabilitation courses positive results were achieved. To keep the results it is necessary to train at home as well. For this Eugene needs a treadmill for strengthening the legs. 

His mother found the necessary sports equipment for the son. And given the fixed costs for the treatment of a child, buying a track for a family of Firsovsky is an unaffordable luxury.

If the child cannot walk on his own, a regular school would not take him, only a special school for handicapped. Zhenya and his parents have been struggling this disease for over 6.5 years. But so far the rhythm of Eugene's life is totally dependent on the mother. While his father is at work, working to earn for the child's treatment, his mom does everything for the son, and if even a year ago it was not so hard, now the boy's grown and it is difficult to bear him on hands. The presence of the treadmill at home will replace a half of massage treatments and will in the near future allow the boy to move, only holding his mother's hand.

Now Zhenya attends the Orthodox family center "Children's academy of development" in Kiev. He is used to communicating with usual kids. Among others there are English, French, grammar, math classes. He only doesn't attend physical education. He also attends the psychologist. Teachers say he's a very clever boy. Zhenya speaks well, tries to read and write.

We hope for your help in acquiring such a needed treadmill so that Zhenya could continue to study with usual children in the ordinary school. At the breaks between classes his mom will wait for him, because so far her help is vital.
